Maria Redman (née Martinez) is one of the main characters in lilsimsie's Separated at Birth series. She has a twin named Val Martinez who got stolen on the night she was born.
Biography[]
Maria Martinez, along with her twin sister Val, was born at a hospital to Clyde and Liz Martinez. On that night, Summer Redman, planning to keep and raise the child as her own personal housekeeper, grabbed infant Maria when no one was looking, in which her allibi was that the baby went dead on arrival.
As a child, Maria was raised in Summer's small dirty trailer. When she started going to public school which her mother forced her to study in, she was constantly bullied and ostracized.
As she aged up to a teen, she met and dated a guy named Tommy Oakes and became intimate friends with a guy named Waldo Fisher. Later, she became a fan of her twin Val Martinez, who went by the stage name "Universe."
On initially finding out about Maria becoming a stan of Universe, knowing she is her twin, Summer not only lashed out and took down her stolen daughter's posters and other merch, but also banned Maria from seeing her twin again. Maria managed to snuck out of their house one night nonetheless, to go to a Universe concert, where which the twins both found out the truth about themselves after Maria saw Universe without her stage outfit on.
